How I Shopped

Knowing I had to make changes to the way I shopped in order to eat healthier, I took the advice from Dr. Robynne and Dr. Axe, made a list of foods I wanted to buy and went to my favorite health food store-Sprouts. The first thing I picked up was a probiotic called Enzyme Probiotic Complex. They are capsules and easy to swallow. If you’re like me and don’t like to swallow large pills, you won’t mind these capsules. Take 2 a day with your largest meals and reap the rewards! Ever since I began taking them, I find that after I eat I feel good! My stomach isn’t bloaty and I’m not gassy! Another benefit from taking these probiotics is, it has helped me go to the bathroom more regularly, which was previously a big problem for me. Buy them, you will love it! Continuing my shopping, I picked up a bag of frozen quinoa/kale which makes a good side dish, frozen veggie patties, which I felt was something I could put with the quinoa/kale side, a bottle of coconut water for smoothies, raspberries, blueberries, apples, bok-choy (so delicious sautéed with a little bit of olive oil), zucchini to have with my cage free eggs in the morning, 1 green & 1 red bell pepper, brown rice and a box of Mary’s Gone Crackers. They are delicious, gluten-free, vegan and organic crackers that make a great snack. Keeping these staples in the kitchen assures me a great way to eat healthy during the day and its just one more step towards feeling great!

Thanks for reading! Be sure to check out my next blog where I provide recipes for smoothies as described in Dr. Robynne’s book called Gutbliss.
